R-Type is my favorite shoot 'em up so when the 'final' final game in the series was released today I had to have it and I'm not disapointed! It plays great and the graphics and sound are awesome! with some lovely lighting effects and decent tunes. Here's a look at the first three levels which appear to be sort of remakes of the same levels in the original. I Iove the different versions of the ships with the various weapon systems and can't wait to unlock more. Anyway, if yer a R-Type fan I highly recommend this new addition to the classic series....
