Before Starting to explain I suggest to open a new tab and watch this video in the 2 tab simultaneously obviously with 2 different patterns.

Nomemayer is considered the easiest boss of this game and during his boss fight you can see that he shoots many balls but what most probably you didn't notice is that during boss fight you changed his pattern multiple times. How you ask? You change it's pattern by killing a POW Armor. You don't need to grab the power up that he drops, You just have to kill him. Doing this Nomemayer instantly change it's pattern. And if you die and in the next life try to destroy the same amount of POW you'll notice that the pattern remains the same. I don't know how much patterns Nomemayer has but it's incredible how a so simple boss hides a so interesting mechanic. In this video I show the first three patterns: No Power Up, 1 Power Up and 2 Power Ups (I did a lot of attempts to show properly this patterns cause I never saw completely second and third pattern).
Also, I showed only the pattern before the jump, cause after that his pattern continues and shoot the big balls but honestly I'm lazy and I never want to learn that pattern since it's rare that I reach that part even at R-Typer.
