AFD doesnt really changes this. Shes harder than usual for sure, but nowhere near as hard as Cocoa 2, Cicini, or the next boss...
Of course thats largely because of the Amulets.

For the most of the part, once you get Amulets, you are out of the early game hell and it should be a mostly relatively easy ride until around Chapter 5/Miru & Noah, which is the point where the game finally catches up with you.
This is assuming you know the game well enough to the point most of BEX is not very challenging for you... but then again, if you are even trying this to begin with, chances are you dont normally struggle with BEX difficulty anymore.


Keywords sentence being for the *most* of the part... there is still one big challenge before truly getting out of the early game hell in this mode...
