Is it possible to beat the whole Base game with a 0% Items condition on BEX? Is the game even balanced around this? Can we also do it with the ever present rule of No Consumables, No Buffs?
These are the questions this run/playthrough will ATTEMPT (Keyword) to answer!

So, here we are. This might be the craziest playthrough yet!
Truth to be told, I always planned to eventually do another 0% item run on a higher difficulty. So one day I realized, hey, this sounds insane, but I already did so many goals which looked unreasonable before... might as well give this a try!

The good thing about these runs is that theres really not much to talk about badge/item setup for obvious reasons.
Theres not many upgrades to get, and theres barely any preparation on a 0% Item run- its almost entirely up to your skill to play near flawlessly in order to beat these fights under these conditions.

So, the quest begins with Rita. A fairly easy fight, all things considered- beat her in few attempts. I did make some obvious mistakes but I still won, so that just tells you how (comparatively) easy this fight is. Enjoy it while this lasts, because the difficulty on this scales dramatically...

Needless to say, dont even attempt this unless you believe you know the game well. And I mean really, REALLY,

Well.

I cant stress this enough. You die in 2-3 hits average and even regular bosses usually take ~3 minutes to beat- and thats assuming your DPS is optimized as heck. And it gets even harder as you make progress...

It may look not too bad *now*, but I assure you this eventually gets harder than even the Impossible playthrough!

One last thing. The main goal of this run is to beat Irisu with 0% Items. I will try my best to also do this entire run without Consumables or Buffs*, but if I get truly stuck forever in one boss, to the point it would completely kill the run otherwise, I will allow myself to use them.
This is an absolute very last resort though, I dont want to use them if I can help it!

*Also, Keke will however probably be an exception since she has an unavoidable attack even on Casual difficulty, on BEX this will likely be literally impossible to win just with that attack alone.
Also, she is technically a bonus boss and not needed to get Irisu.
I will see what I should do about her when the time comes.
