Virtual Reality is the new hot tech on the market right now. The past generation of racing games saw the introduction of virtual reality into games such as Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally 2.0, Project Cars, and Need for Speed No Limits out of all things! Recently while playing Assetto Corsa in virtual reality and having an immersve eye opening experience, I've thought to myself, imagine an Open world street racing game in VR. Imagine a mainline Need for Speed vr game or Forza Horizon vr experience! The closest thing we have to this is available in Assetto Corsa with the awesome LA Canyons mod and the Excellent Shutoko revival project.

While Virtual Reality racing has been limited to simulation racing games as of the last generation, as the technology becomes more advanced and more developers are developing mainline titles for virtual reality hardware, I believe that the development teams behind the Need for Speed and the Forza Horizon series should take a serious look into developing a Need for Speed VR or Forza Virtual Reality game. Or make their games VR compatible.
