After reaching the Sand fortress and directly talk to Field Marshal Viola, Rosch had to stay there as there was going to be a strategic meeting and left command to stocke. Stocke went back and gave the squad their orders and then went to find kiel, as he knows sword dancing and Stocke needs them to progress in the other timeline, he decides to teach kiel and then afterwards Stocke returns to the other timeline. They reach the border and the same scene happens but stocke, takes out his sword and say it's part of the act and slashed twice the soldier. The soldier felt .. strange as he wasn't cut and the other soldier was impressed and they were let to pass. The troupe was very impressed with Stocke's skills and promptly said that they would hire him if he was in need of work and then they invited them to spend the night at a place they usually camp when they pass through these parts.
