Rampart Gameplay for the SNES. Rampart is a shockingly fun castle building game for the Super Nintendo. On each turn you buuild walls (or Ramparts) around your castle, then on the enemies turn, their ships move closer to you and shoot cannons at your walls (Ramparts). While this enemy turn is taking place you can move the cursor around the screen and shoot cannonballs at the enemy ships. After the enemy turn, it is once more your turn to rebuild your walls, and try to expand your castle.

If Rampart does not sound fun, blame me for not writing it up well. It is shockingly, surprisingly, very fun. Neither of us had ever played Rampart before, but we instantly liked this game.

Also, the box art is absolutely hilarious. That is the only thing I remembered about Rampart from when I was a kid, that it has amazing box art. So good.
