Random Physics Fact is a reward that viewers on my Twitch stream can redeem, at which point I try and do some sort of informed waffle...informed because I do have a PhD in Physics, but that doesn't make me anywhere near an expert in everything...waffle because, well, I talk a lot, and only occasionally stay on topic...

This one's about blue LEDs. Did you know they were only invented in 2014? Now they seem to be everywhere...including in my brand new fibre broadband router...
