Randoms S5 Ep4, 2015 01-16: In Mortal Kombat X, Jason's red screen doesn't actually randomize his opponent's buttons. Instead, it flips the opponent's buttons into one of three set configurations.

When 1=2, 2=1, 3=4, 4=3
When 1=3, 2=4, 3=1, 4=2
When 1=4, 2=3, 4=2, 4=1

That's all! Just remember which button you want to find and you'll be able to fight red screen much better.
