Amata rants about the issue of piracy, which was brought on by Ubisoft's comment that there is as much as a 90% piracy rate on the PC platform. She analyses why piracy is a problem that needs to be addressed on the developers side via a method different from DRM.

She discusses why she thinks piracy is such a problem, what can be done to combat it, and why it should not be used as a convenient scapegoat by developers to excuse laziness. She also talks about how developers need to not punish legitimate consumers with aggressive DRM, and how instilling consumer good will and keeping a reasonable price tag on your games is the way to combat pirates.
