Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is one of the best 2D platformers I've ever played, and definitely the best to come out in the last 5 years.

Playtonic Games has finally figured it out; after releasing a lackluster collect-a-thon with some issues, they've made a game that feels like Rareware in its prime.

I've got my fingers crossed for a sequel to Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, but in the meantime, I'll be playing this and trying to beat that damn impossible lair.
