8Beginning its series debut on PS3 in 2007, Tools Of Destruction was a landmark game in the Ratchet & Clank franchise, bringing the futuristic universe into a new generation that combined the refined gameplay of the PS2 era with deeper storytelling that fleshes out the existing lore established by the original trilogy.
The future timeline all starts with an invasion in Metropolis and sees the duo stranded in the Polaris Galaxy, being locked in a war to stop Emperor Tachyon from finding the Lombax secret and conquering the universe, by bringing back his fellow Cragmites back, of whom were banished into another dimension centuries ago by Ratchet's species. All of this leads up to one final battle at the court of Azimuth.
As of recording this video, R&C TOD is specifically labelled as 'In Game' for emulation, meaning that while completable, issues may exist in game, be it graphical, audio, systemic or otherwise. The game is notorious for occasional freezing even with enabling optimal settings, but is definitely completable with consistent, smooth performance throughout, hardware permitting.
