Sonic Adventure RTX - Complete Playthrough [Real Path Tracing Mod]
47Welcome back to another full Sonic playthrough here on the channel, this time in a way you'll have never seen the blue blur and his friends previously thanks to the path tracing support added by Ver1! This mod uses the RTX remix platform to uplift everything visual, pushing the graphics of Sonic Adventure 1 into the modern era by using the RT cores to re-render everything found in this almost 30 year old game.
The game begins as Eggman seeks to harness the infinite power of chaos, made possible by breaking the master emerald in which he is trapped and harnessing the negative energy of the 7 chaos emeralds to take over the world. Every storyline featured takes place at different moments of the game, each character having their own personal narrative that acts as a sub plot to the overarching story. Sonic has the biggest journey across the course of the plot, ending with him being forced once again to go Super and save the world once again, this time from the wrath of Chaos.
As of publishing this, the mod is still not completely finished and is classed as experimental, so expect to see a few glitches here and there, any issues encountered were minor all things considered, such as the beginning cut-scene freeze. All the gameplay here is recorded with ultra rendering settings, with DLSS enabled on 'Performance', mainly as to keep the entire gameplay at a stable 60 frames per second. Only parts of the main game missing here is the beginning cut-scene, FMV's in between some of the in game cut-scenes, some of Tails' story on the egg carrier & the start of Amy's first cut-scene.
Also enabled is are a few QOL mods thanks to PKR's Dreamcast conversion, like the sound fix, Adventure character models, Japanese onion blur effect restoration & HD HUD design to truly give it that remastered feel. Massive thanks for checking this video out! 😁
