Ratchet and Clank Let's Play: Part 18 - FINAL BOSS - Vs. Drek
1Drek is by far a very hard boss for the fact that you'll not have a lot of ammo and refills can happen at random unless you find a crate. Best weapons of choice here are the Devastator, the Suck Cannon and the Tesla Claw. The PDA is HIGHLY recommended as well, as you'll need to find times to reload through the shop. One thing I don't recommend is using the quick select to change weapons. Do it in the options as Drek can still hit you while your changing weapons. (This is something fixed in later games)
Drek has a larger amount of attacks. Avoid his missiles and energy blasts, jump over the shock wave created by his bombs, use the Suck Cannon if he drops robot minions or fires mines and shoot them back at him, and when he creates a ring of energy around him just get to a grind rail and run until he stops. Drek will take awhile to defeat, and the final phase has him on a time limit. Make sure your have the most health possible for this fight.
If this fight is giving you a lot of trouble, I recommend saving up for the R.Y.N.O. and just shooting him until you Ripped Him a New One.
