A mysterious animated special titled Ratchet & Clank: Life Of Pie premiered on Crave Canada. There is absolutely ZERO marketing for this animated special... it just popped up out of the blue on February 12th 2021.

On that same day, IGN got the chance to speak to Sony and it appears that Ratchet & Clank: Life Of Pie is its own standalone animated special. ''Life of Pie'' was secretly in development by Mainframe Studios formerly known as Rainmaker, the one behind the Ratchet & Clank movie in 2016.

Mainframe has confirmed that ''Life of Pie'' is a one-off animated special. If we want more, the production team said to ask Sony. Although this mysterious Ratchet and Clank animated episode is considered an animated special, it's possible that it was originally intended to be a pilot.

Ratchet & Clank: Life of Pie is a 23 minutes animated episode exclusive to Crave Canada. This episode is planned to be viewable worldwide eventually.
