Well, I was pretty far into the story of the game, at the point where Emperor Nefarious was trying to get the Dimensional Map. I tried jumping to a different part of the map but hit an invisible wall and when I respawned I was inside a nearby structure and I can't seem to get out. Reloading the checkpoint (as you see in the video) doesn't get me out.

EDIT: Fortunately it turns out the game does have multiple save slots for backups, I guess for just such eventualities. So I was able to resume the game with little to no progress lost.
