I accidently stumbled upon this mechanics as I paniced. It's kind of a melee dodge with aiming afterwards. You just have to melee (X) while moving and aim (L) right afterwards. In this position Raven Beak is not able to hit you during this attack. Possibly you get hit right at the beginning of his attack, but this do not have to be. This one particular attack of Raven Beak is the only time where you need the space jump to complete the game on any%.
