This an open-world fantasy RPG roguelike. It's from a sister company of Avalanche Studios. The company is responsible for Just Cause and Rage 2. You can see in the graphics very clearly that it's on the same engine as Just Cause.

Ravenbound is an action-packed roguelite game with open-world elements, developed by Systemic Reaction, a creative division of Avalanche Studios Group. The game revolves around a Vessel, an eternal weapon linked to the Raven, created by imprisoned Gods to free them and restore order to the island of Ávalt. The game features permadeath and permanent progression, allowing players to come back stronger with each new Vessel.

The fast-paced action-roguelite combat involves battling corrupted creatures in a hack-and-slash system, requiring players to master combat and choose suitable upgrades. The unique fantasy open-world is inspired by Scandinavian folklore, where players face Trolls, Huldras, and Draugr while exploring the island of Ávalt, either on foot or in Raven form.

Progression is achieved through cards and unlocks found during the journey. These cards grant various rewards like better armor, new playable classes, magical weapons, and relics that enhance characters. Discovering the right card combinations is crucial for a Vessel's survival.
