93When there's a sequel, it's usually worth it to check out the previous installment first. Waldameer's premiere wooden coaster had a long road to travel before becoming a reality. To get the whole story, we have to go back 100 years for a look at the mysterious Ravine Flyer 1, a coaster shrouded in secrecy due to a lack of documentation and an unfortunate accident that led to its closure. The result of 70 years of planning was a wooden hybrid coaster that put Waldameer back on the map for coaster enthusiasts. Ravine Flyer II should not be missed.
