Rayman Legends 100% in 6h43'36'' [WR]
544A video I did a few months ago that I forgot to publish. Long video, because long game to 100%.
So, some notes about this run :
- First, this is NOT a real 100%, because I don't unlock all the characters. The thing is that you cannot unlock all the characters in a single-segment run, because the last character requires 1,000,000 lums, and you have only a little more than 400,000 lums after the run. So you technically have to to daily/weekly challenges (impossible in SS), or to farm lums in levels (accounting 800 lums max in a level, that would require I think almost 40 hours). I stop the timer after I scratch the last ticket.
- Before the time trials, I do a strange trick called the Murphy reset. It doesn't save time, but with this I can't get hit by dark Rayman, and that makes these levels a lot easier and a lot less stressful !
- I usually don't play with the max resolution to be sure the game doesn't lag, but some 8 bits levels are a lot harder in under resolution, so I just put the game in full resolution for a few levels.
- The run is on Pc. I didn't check the loading times, but I should. If someone want to try to beat this time, I will do it.
- It is far from being optimized, it's in fact my only full attempt, and I just did every level 2 or 3 times before to decide an approximative lum route. But's it's already a time I'm satisfied with.
About the run :
To me, the 2 hardest levels are the musical level of World 2 8 bit version (because of 1 jump with 2 lines of lums, if you miss one, reset level, 1 minute lost), and the 4th boss in "Back to Origins" (not really hard, but barely enough lums to reach 300).
I don't remember every fails, but I had to reset a shaolin challenge because of a cage, Bad 3rd and final 8 bits levels, and I forgot a cage in Meca No Mistake (final world), worst mistake that costs almost 4 minutes.
Globally, it's Ok, even if Back to Origins levels are pretty slow. I remember I had something like 60 deaths.
