Here is how you should do this level in a speedrun of the Pc version. And there are 2 tricks I ignored before.
The first one is with the first cage. During a long time, I thought that the helicopter was mandatory to make the cloud appear, but in fact, you just need a pixel perfect jump.
The second is with the second cage. I didn't know if the Storm skip was possible in this version because the physics are a little bit different. And finally, it's possible, but you need a PERFECT jump, very very hard to get consistently. In the video, I removed 2 minutes of unsuccessful attempts. So that jump, that is already a runkiller in PSX version, is definitely terrible for Pc runs.
I think these tricks would save between 1 and 2 minutes. Because you don't have to redo Bongo Hills, but you have to redo the Swamps of Forgetfulness, as you need the helicopter power for one of the cages.
Anyway, I hope it isn't the end of pleasant runs on Pc version.
