With this helicopter, I had crash landed on approach to the ground, with the gyro malfunction giving me no time for reaction, as the helicopter went into quick rotation, just before it touched the ground.
The impact resulted in damage to the flybar rod, spindle, main shaft, fly-bar control rods and main rotor blades.

The gyro can be set back to CSM for repair if you wish. I'm not taking any chances and just replacing with a new one. Rc helicopter flying is only as safe as you are.
