This is my own custom design for a 10th scale RC snowplow! The first test showed it bolted to my snowcat, but in this test, I made it bolt on to my custom RC crawler mounts that I remixed from Spyker Workshops RC 1X-2 snowblower kit.

V2.0: Coming soon!

The blade is a modified version of my Powerbroom shape. That is the only similarity with the Powerbroom, as everything else (minus the remixed mounts) are my own custom design. I have modified the blade following the first 2 tests. Features include:

Wide 16.5" clearing path
Minimal parts and hardware; cost effective
Mounts can be easily removed and attached from the blade, with just 4 screws
Can be hard attached to your mount of choice, without the swivel feature, to improve strength (like how its mounted on this RC crawler)
The whole blade pivots relative to the mount, just like real snowplows! This adds a unique touch to the snowplow, while adding functional characteristics to help it get past uneven surfaces.
Flags and/or drift cutters being designed next!
Optional light mounts, hard mounted! (or can be attached to the servo on the swivel bracket to control the angle of light; still unsure of this)

The first two tests went well, but the springs were too loose. I traded 4 of the soft springs for harder ones, which helped a lot. The springs can be swapped for more or less blade pivot, depending on your plowing surface! The blade doesn't fully roll back, which causes the plow to get stuck (as you'll see in the video). This was a small design error and will be fixed before file release (already fixed).

This design was heavily inspired by the design in this video, mostly the pivot function. The designer has never released the files, so I made my own.    • 3D Printed Scale Western Snow Plow on...

Expect file release early March, paid, but affordable. I might update the files with a metal scraper if I notice wear on the plastic, but if used on snow, I'm sure this won't be an issue.
