For the Theme It! competition at the Creator's Lounge, we received one (extremely crappy) B&M layout with nothing else, and it was up to us to theme it. I entered with this ride, Gladiator, an invert set in the Italian hills.



I also wrote a crappy story to it, here you go:

The story of Spartacus is a well-known one. It's the story of a gladiator, a slave, who wanted to fight for his freedom and inspired the other slaves to do the same. It's the story that ends on a tragic note, as Spartacus and the other slaves were crucified on the hills along the main road to Rome.

Thousands of years later, a town has formed on top of these hills. They are now hidden underneath the pillars of classical structures and the leaves of lush foliage. But some say that the ghosts of the gladiators who were crucified still inhabit these hills, endlessly roaming around these buildings, waiting for their chance to get revenge on the people of Rome. Enter the historic gardens where the slaves where brutally killed. Enter the realm of the Gladiator.
