RE2 Classic REbirth / HD intro with FFMPEG
0A more complete version of the FFMPEG implementation from the last devstream. This replaces the old, obsolete, and buggy DirectShow module for movie playback.
FFMPEG was an important addition to this project because it fixes the last Win10 issue: full motion videos displaying a black picture while audio plays normally.
The last stream had a very rough revision of this player, while what you see here is more akin to what the next version of the DLL is going to have. The green hue is gone and video jitter is fixed, also the new upscale algorithm produces much better results.
Game is now capable of playing natively mp4 (h264+aac) movies via mod-sdk or regular movie files renamed as mp4. This will be useful for mods or movie replacements packs that don't take several GB just for a few minutes of footage.
