[Read description!] Blind Play MY Way: Chrono Trigger Impossible, Part 26&27
This Dream Was Meant To Be Shattered / Harder Than Steel
The Zeal Kingdom tried too hard to take control of everything, including time itself I'd say. Not to mention a planetary parasite it had no hope of taming. It is fated to fall...and despite that you tried to banish me, I shall be the one knocking down the supports. There's not much time left in your little world, Zeal...
I'm sorry about the audio problems here, but after an hour and a half of trying to edit in subtitles and piece out what I had said, I threw my hands up and surrendered. I was annoyed, and bored to tears, and cursing at my headset for refusing to cooperate. Once this session passes, you'll probably hear me far louder than the game audio. And you know what. Fuck it. As much as I love this game's soundtrack, I know people want to hear me over it, so that's what you'll get. I'll be silent at a few points, so if I remember to edit those points, I will turn the volume up so you can hear the game's awesome music. But aside from that, you'll probaly hear me quite loudly. It may sound a bit ugly at points, too, but honestly, it really was the only way I could get my headset to reliably pick me up and not let me be overpowered by the game audio. I am sorry if it bothers you that I'm hard to hear until around part 37-ish. (The headset becomes a bit more cooperative at points like the Undersea Palace and the inside of the Blackbird, but it was still within the same session.) But to maintain the blind aspect, it wasn't possible to re-record. And Blueberry won't let me separate computer audio from my mic audio, despite showing them as two different audio layers in the project window. (And it doesn't do them a stereo thing, either, of game audio in one channel and my audio in the other. Believe me, that'd be nice.) I know this won't magically fix the problems or anything. But I hope you'll at least understand what happened, as well as my frustration. I hope that you will at least be able to hear *some* of my commentary...
Apologies, Randomite King
