Ready Or Not - UE5 Update How to FIX FPS Issues and Resolution Scaling not Applying
Ready Or Not Updated to Unreal Engine 5 and a lot of the Video Scaling Settings are not Applying Correctly.
I will show you how to boost your fps. This shows how to boost with TSR which is the Default Engine UpScale. I went from around 100fps avg at max settings 1440p to around 150fps avg after the fix.
You have to force the sg.resolutionquality=67 in the gameusersettings.ini file for example to Quality Mode. Then save and make sure that file is set to read only so the game doesn't overwrite it!
**Important** Make Sure to Disable FSR / DLSS FIRST before doing this fix. This will only work on the Default TSR Upscale. After you do the fix DO NOT turn back on FSR or DLSS or touch the Resolution Scale Slider. If you mess with things after the fix it will more than likely go back to 100% resolution scale. If you do, just restart the game and it will go back to what you set in the .ini file.
