In Gloom, you play as a character who suffers from amnesia and upon falling asleep drift into what is known as the Common Dream. Gathering the pages of the Necronomicon you try to make sense of what is going on while battling all types of creatures, but be careful because when you die. You start off at the beginning.
The gameplay was interesting, I would have liked something to show what the controls were. I figured them out as I played and ended up looking in options to see what the control setting was. Overall, the game was really interesting and I did enjoy the pixel art of the game.
