Muhi-ud-Din Muhammad (3 November 1618 – 3 March 1707),commonly known by the sobriquet Aurangzeb (Persian: "Ornament of the Throne") or by his regnal title Alamgir (Persian: "Conqueror of the World"),was the sixth Mughal emperor, who ruled over almost the entire Indian subcontinent for a period of 49 years.Widely considered to be the last effective ruler of the Mughal Empire, Aurangzeb compiled the Fatawa-e-Alamgiri, and was among the few monarchs to have fully established Sharia law and Islamic economics throughout the Indian subcontinent. He was an accomplished military leader whose rule has been the subject of praise, though he has also been described as the most controversial ruler in Indian history.
Under the rule of Hazrat Aurangzeb Alamgir, there was a pandit girl in Kashi Banaras named Shakuntala, the girl, a Muslim Jahil commander, wanted to hunt her lust, and told her father to decorate your daughter in a doli on my palace. Send it in 7 days .. Pandit said this to his daughter, he had no way and daughter said to Pandit that take 1 month's time, any path will come out.
Pandit went to the commander and said, "I do not have enough money to decorate the girl in 7 days, give me the time of the month." The commander said, "Okay! Send it right after the month". Pandit went to his girl and said "Time has found now?" The girl put on the dress of Mughal Sahajade and went towards Delhi for her ride,
After a few days reached Delhi, it was a day of gambling, and when Hazrat Aurangzeb Alamgir Namaz on the day of the mosque went out of the mosque, people would write their complaint in a letter and stand on both sides of the mosque steps, and Hazrat Aurangzeb Alamgir used to take the letters from his hand, and then in a few days, the decision (justice) was made, the girl (Shakuntala) also stood in this queue, had a mask on her face, and was wearing the dress (dress) of the boy.
When it came to take a letter from his hand, then Hazrat Aurangzeb Alamgir put a cloth on his hand and took a letter from his hand. Then she said, Maharaj! Why this injustice to me? You got a letter from all the people in a direct way and by putting a cloth on my hands from me ??? Then Hazrat Aurangzeb Alamgir has forbidden the handing over of non-Mehram (foreign women) in Islam. And I know you are a girl, not a boy.
Shakuntala stayed with the emperor for a few days, and narrated his plea, Emperor Hazrat Aurangzeb Alamgir said to her, "Daughter! You return and your doli will reach the commander's palace in time."
