Video games are one of the most immersive forms of storytelling to date, owing much in part due to its interactive nature as active engagement entertainment, in comparison to film/tv/plays where the engagement is relatively more passive.

Video games are afforded many tools to communicate stories never before seen in past forms of interactive storytelling - dialogue being among them - but is dialogue really the most effective way of communicating story/characters/world/lore?
