Experimental real-time fracturing engine (revealed at GDC 2012), that allows objects to be fractured and further destroyed on the fly, accordingly to impact force and point of damage application.
Rigid body simulation is running on GPU (now with real gravity).
This technology is supposed to be integrated in APEX Destruction module in the future, to work in conjunction with current support/pre-fracturing system.
