Really solid guys, really make the name Donkey Studios proud.
So I guess for the stupid people who defend this kind of garbage, they've never encountered what servers should be doing in these cases, instead of the game rewarding the behavior and just fundamentally breaking the game when it occurs, like split screens, so you're not fighting each other, which makes it look like attacks aren't landing, but they are if both views were seeable. It'll be fun to have this showcased when they do spectator mode and how shitty the game will look if they allow views from both perspectives.
I've had dial up back in the day and enjoyed playing Counter Strike. Now, do you think the servers shit the bed any time someone with like 200 ping came into the servers? No. You'd have the people who had good ping and laggers, which under rare circumstances, did not aid at all. You knew you were laggy and the service didn't hurt anyone elses experience. This is an issue solely with games like Guardian tales that go out of their way to be cheap.
If this even remotely acted like any decent server, someone who apparently is trying to be exploitative wouldn't be rewarded, they'd simply just die and that'd be the end of it. Instead, the game continues the match, way past the point of them having no health for a long time, but on their screen, the match hasn't started until they reconnected, so all I get to do is wait for the fucking game to work properly, taking hits regardless of my actions since they'll be fighting a ghost of me just wailing on them or behind where I actually am on my map.
The sooner you all stop sucking cock and get even 2 braincells together, the faster it'd help to put in a valid complaint about this and hopefully get them to spend some of the millions of dollars they've earned off your stupid asses, to have servers then don't start failing apart once a 5 ping difference is had.
Now, I know you're way too fucking lazy to do it, but if you want some real time to prove your ass wrong, go on twitch some time and watch some Korean player whales. They'll be rocking under 20 ping and they still get desync hits from time to time. Stop helping people that only want you for your money and would only give you the least. Reward them for positive action, not for the worst.
