When I say "you should" I meant it more as "it should", when talking about the consecration effect with Consecrated Hammer
(thought it might have come off as a bit rude!)

Anyhow, a short explanation about the trick. It appears that consecration still got somekind of effect when combined with Consecrated Hammer. If you currently have a Shield of the Righteous buff active, and cast a Consecration, it will still buff the SOTR (not if you refresh it tho, then it dissapears. If you have an active SOTR buff while Consecration runs out... then you will lose the effect of Consecrated Hammer. So it got both a positive and a negative side.

This is very handy overall, makes you think about using Consecration in a good way combined with SOTR. It works wonder against huge hitting enemies, such as Aggramars combo etc.
