I tested the performance difference between Rebar (Resizable BAR) On and Off on a B580, which is an x8 card, across 6 games at 1440P using high settings to saturate the VRAM as much as possible. In most games, the performance difference is significant, with some becoming unplayable and others experiencing much worse 1% lows.
