My friend DeviousVacuum and I, in a quest to discover more about visual novels, have put together a stream called Date☆Night, where we're playing through a bunch of visual novels that I haven't had the chance to really sink my teeth into, and that DVac has never seen. This time, we're embracing death in Re:Birthday Song ~Koi o Utau Shinigami~! A young girl finds herself in an unknown world, with no memory of who she is or how she got there. As it turns out, she's found herself in purgatory, unable to reach Heaven or Hell because of her regrets on Earth. Until she's able to remember herself and reconcile with her regrets, she'll be playing the part of a shinigami, if she can pass her exams that is!

Today, we start Ame's route, and it couldn't be more different than Yoru's! Each of the characters exudes a different sort of maturity, and Ame's story opens up quickly with hints about his past life and the sort of relationship he's going to cultivate with the newly dubbed Kokoro!
