Recumbent Stone Circle
10Dating from the early Bronze Age (1500BC) these stone circles are unique to Aberdeenshire and have an unusual and spectacular recumbent stone sitting between two tall flanking pillars. I visited around 30 of these circles during a two week trip to Scotland earlier this year. All photos and music is my own.
