Part I: The mission begins with the player finding a destroyed caravan in Lemoyne, where they meet Margaret, a circus performer seeking help to find his escaped exotic animals - a zebra, lion, and tiger.

Part II: The player locates and lassoes what they think is the missing zebra, only to discover it's a mule painted like a zebra.

Part III: The player assists Margaret's assistant, Sally Nash, in locating the "tiger", which turns out to be a cougar painted to resemble a tiger. They trap the cougar using a dead dog as bait.

Part IV: The player searches for Margaret's lion near Emerald Ranch, encountering two men guarding a barn. Inside, they find a real lion that escapes and kills one of the men. The player tracks and kills the lion in a nearby stable.

Part V: Returning to Margaret and Sally, the player learns of the real lion and the deaths it caused. Margaret rewards them with an emerald, despite the player's admonishment for not disclosing the truth earlier.
