Quick way to grow your beard...
Make sure you have 3 hair tonics before following steps.

Go to shop at night, drink 3 hair tonics, press Y or triangle depending on console at door so it goes to morning, buy 3 hair tonics and drink them, buy 3 more, head over to hotel and pay for room and go sleep until evening, walk over to general shop and drink 3 hair tonics, then wait until morning again and repeat whole process until happy with beard length.

It does take quite a while to grow but doing it this way is much faster as you are using a loading screen and also going to sleep which is needed with the hair tonics.
