With the arrival of the Red Dead Online Naturalist Content Update (July 28 2020), the Trader Role and its overall gameplay loop has changed dramatically. However, unlike the changes made to the Collector Role... these additions are AWESOME and make the life of a Trader a LOT easier. By visiting Hariett's shop and completing a Legendary Animal mission, players can now hunt legendary animals that are GUARANTEED to spawn, unlike the semi-random common animal spawns from before. But that's not all: by trading in those Legendary Animal pelts to Cripps, we are rewarded with MASSIVE amounts of materials, making the Trader Role gameplay loop... basically a joke. By taking advantage of these legendary animal missions, you should hit max rank for Trader in no time at all, easily.

Today, we’ll take a look at how exactly the Trader Role has changed: we'll look at all of the Material Values for Legendary Pelts, look into how exactly the Trader gameplay loop has become easier thanks to Naturalist, and finally, I'll outline and detail what I like to call the Ultimate Red Dead Online Routine. The Routine takes advantage of the time saved thanks to those huge material values from Legendary Pelts. While waiting for Cripps to break them down, we'll engage in other activities from the Collector and Moonshiner roles to maximize the amount of cash and xp we gain while playing Red Dead Online. In the end, you're gonna make a ton of cash for your troubles!
