Talk to John at camp to complete part one and start part two of the Pouring Forth Oil mission. Uncle has told him about the prospective train heist, which you learned about during Polite Society, Valentine Style. He has a grand idea of smothering the train tracks in oil to make the driver stop. After speaking with him, two oil tankard carriers will be marked on your map. Because this will be vehicle theft, it'll be best to steal the one further to the east, because you don’t want our bounty to increase in Valentine. Hop over the fence directly behind the carriage and you’ll have a few moments before someone starts shooting. Get in the carriage, and then make a hard right to make your getaway. Alternatively, you can kill everyone here first, but the above method is simpler and faster. After making the hard right, and getting out of the factory area, make a b-line to the meeting area on your map.You can run over anyone shooting at you, but if you get too many shots taken to the tank, it’ll explode, and you’ll fail the mission - so it’s better to take care of them before they get positioned behind you. Getting the oil barrel to the designated drop off point will end Part 1 of Pouring Forth Oil.

Now head back to camp and talk to John to start and complete, Pouring Forth Oil Part 3. You’ll have to wait for him to get to the next meeting point. While you wait, you can do the quest A Fisher of Men to help pass time, or just wait at camp overnight to wait for the marker to appear. Go talk to Sean at the objective marker. You'll find him shooting bottles on the back of a wagon. He will try to convince you to let him come on the train raid with you, and you’ll reluctantly agree. John and Charles aren’t incredibly enthusiastic about it, but Sean comes anyway. Switch to cinematic mode to easily follow the road while holding the X/A button.Let your friend knock out the train conductor, then head to the back of the car. Try not to kill anyone that you don’t have to, and beat the passengers when prompted to convince them to hand over their valuables. You should go through three cars with no issues, but eventually you’ll have to go check on Sean in the baggage cart in the back. Unfortunately, there’s trouble. Be prepared to shoot in order to save Sean. Make sure to open the cabinet to your left upon entering, and then two in the center of the car to get some extra rewards. You'll also find some chests along the way. After some time looting, two people will approach on horseback. You will have no choice but to fight them. Use Dead Eye to ensure you meet the goal of killing ten people with the skill. Use the crates as cover, and peak out only to to shoot quickly. A long-range gun will do well here Now you’ll have to run away to leave the red circle. Head northwest - it’s the fastest and easiest path. Once you’re far enough away, the four cowboys will discuss setting up another heist in a cutscene, marking the end of the Pouring Forth Oil mission.
