Micah has a proposal for us today, it seams that Pearson ran into a few of the O'Driscoll men on the road. Instead of turning ugly like expected, The O'Driscolls talked about parley. About Burying the Hatchet so to speak. Dutch surprisingly, is interested and against our better judgment we go. We head to the plains, out between Valentine and Emerald Ranch. Dutch and Micah head out to talk with Colm, we take up over-watch on a nearby ridge. During the parley, we are jumped and knocked unconscious. We awake, we are in a camp, and while the guards are talking we make a break for it. They catch us, and to prevent further thoughts of escape. Shoot us in the shoulder. The next time we are conscious, we are hanging upside down in the basement of a cabin. We preform an daring escape. A small file is on a nearby table used for reloading ammunition. We manage to swing ourselves to the table and snag the file. We use it first to pick the lock on the shackles, then to scrape off the gangrenous skin and dig the bullet out. We take a nearby shotgun shell, and cauterize the wound. Then a man comes down for us, We are able to hide just long enough to quietly snap his neck. We are out, but it will take a miracle to escape with our life.
