Today we leave camp with the best intension, but it all goes down hill from there. We are off to a little place called Catfish Jackson, you may remember our previous visit here when we won a race. We are once again tasked with debt collection, this time Strauss says it will be our last. On the way there we find the corpse of a man, a slave called Elijah, who seems to have perished on the way to reunite with his family after escaping his captors. We will see if we can maybe get that letter back to his family. Anyway, back to our debt collecting, we continue but are interrupted by a man who seemingly robbed a stagecoach. He shoots at us, so we are forced to defend ourselves and shoot him down. Once at Catfish Jackson, we are tasked with meeting a fisherman named Algie who seems to have a drinking problem. We find the man, quite drunk almost passed out. We take him into the house, where he goes to grab the savings, while his boy fixes us a drink. We are immediately suspicious, but reach out for the box of money he is handing to us and we discover the box is empty. Seconds later, Algie stabs us with a knife hidden under the sink, we are forced to shoot the man. After Algie is dead on the floor, we search the house hoping to find anything to cover his debt. The son is our ticket, he has just enough money saved up to cover his fathers debt. After taking the money off of him, we head back north where we are ambushed by some Lemoyne Raiders. Taking them out we discover they have a machine gun mounted in their wagon, so we decide to take that and sell it to our fence. All does not go to plan.
