Red Faction Armageddon Walkthrough part 16 One Ugly Motherf... (1440p)
Red Faction: Armageddon is a third-person shooter video game developed by Volition and published by THQ in association with the TV network Syfy. It is the fourth and final installment in the Red Faction series, and was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in various countries around the world between June 7 and June 10, 2011
Although many people consider Armageddon to be a downgrade on previous entries in the series I have always had fun with this game with its destruction based engine.
In terms of gameplay Red Faction Armageddon is a fairly typical third person shooter on the surface, but once you get further into the game and unlock the wider assortment of weapons and abilities the game really opens up and allows you to try different ways of defeating enemies based on your preferred play style.
For people that enjoyed the environmental destruction of games like Battlefield bad company you'll definitely enjoy the destruction in Red Faction that allows you to destroy and rebuild pretty much any structure you like.
Although don't expect an Oscar worthy story it is mainly there to justify the gameplay but with the writing especially in the cut-scenes makes the game feel like a bit of a B-movie but in some ways this does give it a bit of a charm considering all the voice cast do a good job at playing their characters in my opinion.
If you read the descriptions of my videos you know I like a good soundtrack and fortunately Red Factions is a pretty descent my on complaint is that it can be a bit repetitive and sometimes cuts out half way through combat. But I think the lack of ambient music outside of combat is actually a good idea reminding you of how alone you are on Mars.
Overall Red Faction is a great game that you can just sit down and enjoy without having to get invested in the story or anything my only complaints are that it is a little bit short (however thankfully this is compensated for by there being a NG+ mode to keep all your unlocked weapons and upgrades) and that I found that the game hangs up quite often and you will get micro stutters, strangely when in combat I didn't notice this happen often it was more outside of combat when exploring. But that is just me so it may run a bit smoother on different hardware.
I hope you enjoy the videos and please like and subscribe for more content.
