Red Orchestra 2 - Rising Storm Not in a Bundle? (Let's Play/Commentary)
4This is a Let's Play and a Commentary, so I will be talking about Rising Storm not being Bundled, sold as a bundle, in other words. AS WELL AS Playing the game at the same time. My commentary today will be about the fact that RO2/Rising Storm is sold as if it were a bundle. Each aspect of the Menu, Launch Title, and Icon are centered around Rising Storm, even the intro has Rising Storm first, then RO2, now when you buy RO2, you would assume that Rising Storm comes with it. But instead, they tease you even more with the fact that they let you play on Rising Storm Servers/Maps. But the thing is you can play only as rifleman, and you cannot level up weapons or anything of the sort. So It's pretty much a restricted version of a game. Essentially I would call RS a DLC for RO2, but it's way to good to be called a DLC. But the Price of 20 bucks, is a little to much for a game that should be 10 bucks tops. It still takes place during WW2, but it looks at the perspective of the Americans vs. the Japanese. all the weapons are different for the most part. I believe RO2 is great, and I can assume Rising Storm is as well but, being sold as a bundle, and being way more expensive than Red Orchestra 2 makes this a bad move on Tripwire's part.
