ZXBITLES team from Russia make their long awaited debut on Bumfun with the first game in a series of 3 critically lauded action adventure titles. RED RAID: THE BEGINNING… puts you in the role of a rookie mercenary on a far off, war torn world. Desperate to prove yourself to your superiors, you’ve accepted a mission that most would consider suicide – a raid deep into the heart of a heavily fortified enemy base. However, you have your own reasons for wanting to carry out this task. The enemy have kidnapped your pet rabbit, Daisy, and (as luck would have it) she’s being held in the very base you’ve been tasked with raiding !
Overcome traps, pitfalls, enemy soldiers, computer puzzles and more. Make your way through the outlying forest and into the base itself, choosing to either play stealthily or to go in, guns blazing.
A great value release, comprising of effectively 2 games in one with either side of the tape holding a different part of the adventure.
This game won 2nd prize by users choice in the YRGB 2020 game competition and is a title that many have requested on cassette.
For this version, the game is presented on lime clear cassette with gloss labels, full colour inlay, lime green clear case and protective card outer sleeve. This is a limited run of 20 hand numbered copies, there will NOT be any more !
Also provided is a soundtrack download in uncompressed WAV and 320 mp3 quality, an ambient EP containing music inspired by the situations and vistas encountered in the game.
