Red Rocket: Minutemen Power Armor Depot (Fallout 4 Base Build #shorts) *PS4PRO*
The Red Rocket Power Depot is the 5th settlement I have created. This self-sufficient complex is 17.3X the build limit. As with my other builds no mods or cheat were used. All materials used were gathered through adventuring and dealing with trades. And that always takes a long time.
Since the build was already large by the time the structures were complete, I kept the wiring and switches to a minimum. No fireworks or alarms. Just lots and lots of lights and furniture.
When I first started building here I was going to name it the Red Rocket P.A.R.M. (Power Arm, Robotics and museum) I had started to build a structure over top of the Red Rocket. At that point I felt like it was looking like the Slog build, with all the steel girders installed. I then started adapting the area and built the first light spire. And then after building the second light spire, I started over by storing everything but the foundation and the Voltron building I started making on top of the Red Rocker. It then became known as a Power Armor Depot.
Red Rocket P.A.D. primarily functions as a garage repair shop and storage depot for surplus Power Armor, ready to be distributed throughout the Commonwealth. The Main P.A.D. building houses all the finished Power Armor suits. There are 50 display cases, but the building is capable of holding 4 times that amount if needed.
Guarding the precious cargo is a unit of Voltron Power Rangers, 2 Artillery pieces and it's fully armed battery tower called ForceFort. ForceFort holds it's own fusion core and a full compliment of gun emplacements. Multiple gun emplacements encircle the Complex. There is not much action this far NorthWest as Sanctuary, the MinuteMen's Auxiliary Base, is only a km to the NW.
The settlement has 15 beds. I turned the recruitment beacon off at 11 due to the frame rate beginning to slow. There is a small Power Armor Dealership located between two main entrance light spires. Anyone buying a Power Armor suit from Voltron and the Minutemen must have a license and are allied with Votron or the Minutemen. There are only 4 suits of Power Armor for sale on site at the Red Rocket (in the display case), the rest are under repair or is in use by either faction.
The site also has a water pump room. I forgot to leave a dirt space open for this, but I'm glad I did as the end result turned out well. It's not the first time I used the rug glitch, 3rd or 4th time. I usually don't have the need to use this method.
There are multiple bathrooms, a main kitchen, a mess hall, multiple tables and bbqs and lots of potted plants to add color. There is also farming and a full-sized gym.
This was one of my favorite builds to date. I had a lot of fun with the architecture and lighting and really had fun with the Red Rocket theme.
Hope you guys enjoy! :)
