Along with Multicarts I always loved it when the limited storage space of a cartridge game held a secret hidden game. No matter how limited or small it was such a cool bonus. Sometimes these could be unlocked through gameplay and other times through codes or passwords.

Red Zone is a real Technical showcase on Sega Megadrive (Genesis in the US) but beyond the amazing technical achievements it even has a hidden Asteroids style game.

To access it just go to the Password entry screen and enter the password:
ABCACACBCAC

The game is pretty fun. The B Button accelerates you, the C button shoots and Left and Right rotate your ship.

Apologies for the dodgy gameplay - playing through a old and laggy capture card is difficult!
