The Redmi Note 5 Pro is Xiaomi's latest budget phone and is now available in China with the Redmi Note 5 moniker.

This phone's powered by the Snapdragon 636 chip and has either 3GB, 4GB or 6GB RAM along with 32GB or 64GB of on board storage.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro also comes with a 12MP F2.2 camera with 1.25 size micron sized pixels and a 5 MP secondary camera for the Indian variant. In the Chinese variant we have the same 12mp camera but with an f1.9 aperture and 1.4 micron sized pixels.

The selfie camera is also reduced from 20mp in the Indian variant to 13mp in the Chinese variant but it does come with AI features which for the moment are exclusive to the Chinese market.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro runs on MIUI 9 out of the box.
