Alternate title: EMP was a mistake and shouldn't have ever been even considered for this game.

If you ever wondered why these Redout videos take me a while to churn out and why I take a month or so break between each location. This powerup is the sole reason why. EMP is usually not a problem unless there's multiple racers running it, there are Conqueror or Lunare racecraft with it equipped, or both possibilities at the same time.

Why is this such a problem? Conqueror and Lunare are listed with the slowest recharge rates among all teams. However, this is untrue and it's because they also have the lowest capacity that also matches how slow their energy regen is listed as. Proportionately, and I hope using that word right, these two teams' racecraft get their energy back faster than say a K-werth or ASERA racecraft. However, K-werth and ASERA have the strongest boosts in the game along with Sulha and even Buran. With these four teams, their energy regen is actually fairly slow despite being listed as faster than Lunare or Conqueror and you can really tell this even when you're running the standard meta loadout of Augmented Propeller and Turbo Boost.

So, as a result, EMP becomes its most oppressive when used on Conqueror and Lunare racecraft, as shown in this video. I have many unused clips where I had to completely reset the race until I got a pack of AI racers who weren't running EMP or were running on it a racecraft that can't spam it as much. Maybe I'll edit these together and post it here some day. Till then, I hope that Redout 2 DOES NOT have EMP make a return.

Please... don't let it come back. Just PLEASE! :(
