Redrawing A Page From My First Sketch Book
4A few days ago I was browsing YouTube and came across YouTuber @drawingwiffwaffles redrawing her first sketch book ( • redrawing EVERY SINGLE PAGE in my FIR... ) . This got me curious about my first sketch book which I haven't looked at in probably over a decade.
So I saw the first drawing out of that sketch book which was an image of Pimple from Battletoads that was a (rough) copy from a Battletoads poster that came with the magazine GamePro (It had the cover date of January 1993 issue...which was released on December 1992).
I am not sure how long it took me to redraw this but it felt like several hours...and I just realized while uploading it that the image isn't completed because I forgot to finish the left hand!!

NOTE: I have no idea who the artist is behind the original Battletoads poster. I tried looking it up but could not find the artist. Also with as much in-house art GamePro used back in the day it is kinda surprising they didn't credit their own artist...or maybe it isn't....
